What: Join us as we remember our fallen heroes. SCV veterans Memorial and Eternal Valley Memorial Park are honored to present Santa Clarita’s annual Memorial Day Celebration, Monday, May 25th at 10 am. Senses Garvest Festival

SENSES Block Party: Medieval Quest

What: SENSES Block Party brings Main Street to life every third Thursday from April through September. What: Join us for a plein air day at Rancho Camulos Museum on Saturday, May 23rd. Gates open at 8 am and close at 4 pm. Paint, sketch, or photograph among the historic gardens, orchards, and scenic grounds. Enjoy light refreshments, lunch, and a guided-tour.

SCV Beach Bus 2026

What: Summer is fast approaching, and we’re getting ready for another season of Beach Bus fun; this summer’s Beach Bus will return to Ventura Harbor for the full season. Summer Beach Bus fares are $3.50 each way for children and adults, and $1.75 each way for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Beach Bus passes can now be purchased via the Token Transit mobile app! Simply download the app, purchase the appropriate regular or reduced fare pass, and show your driver upon boarding.

Placerita Canyon Nature Center – Ongoing Programs

When: Saturdays and Sundays

What: • Monthly Bird Walk is offered on the first and second Saturdays of each month (weather permitting) starting at 8:00am March-November and 9:00am December-February. Bring your binoculars (or borrow ours), water, comfortable shoes and a field guide if available. • Blooms Of The Season is held on the fourth Saturday of every month and begins at 9:00am at the front steps to the Nature Center. Learn about native plants and what’s blooming year- round along our trails. • Books & Hikes meets the 4th Sunday of the month at 9:00am September through May, 8am June through August. See our website for program information. • Community Nature Education Series is every 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00PM and provides a free educational program open to the public. • Placerita Nature Tots is the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:30am. For 3-to-6-year-olds. Program lasts 45 minutes to one hour and will involve learning about the environment. Registration starts on the first of the month. Space is limited. To register: [email protected] NOTE: No program in August 2025. • Walker Cabin Tours of the historic Walker cabin are available every Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Tours are also available on other days of the week. Please call the park office to confirm availability. • Family Nature Walk is every Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00pm. An easy one hour walk for the entire family exploring our Natural Area’s animals, plants and cultural history. • Saturday Morning Nature Center Discovery is every Saturday at 10:00am and Noon. A fun meet and greet with the Natural Areas Superintendents. Learn more about your park, ask us questions, and find out fun ways to make the most of your visit!
