3 acre fire put out, but lane closures halted traffic

[view:node_ad=5]There was a three acre fire off of the 14 freeway at Soledad canyon road this afternoon. The fire has been put out, however the two right lanes of the freeway had closed, and the traffic on the 14 southbound near the Soledad off ramp backed up as a result.

As clean up crews got the area under control, the two right lanes opened up, with full operation of the freeway achieved by 3:00pm.

No structures were threatened at any point during this fire.
