Monday morning flights canceled after fog diverts planes
[view:node_ad=5]Some Monday morning flights out of Burbank Airport had to be canceled or rescheduled. The problem was caused after thick fog prompted most aircraft to divert from landing at Burbank Airport last night. As a result, the airport had only one plane on the ground this morning. That plane departed, but passengers who weren't on that plane had to wait for carriers to reschedule planes to start landing at Burbank.
Those incoming planes started to arrive at 9:30am.
Because the ripple effect may be influencing other flights throughout the day, Burbank Airport is urging passengers to check the status of their flight with their airline carrier.
