This month, Mountasia, our local family fun center and their sister company, Skateland in Northridge are hosting a holiday clothing drive to benefit the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission in Sun Valley. Their goal is to fill up to two truckloads of donated items from December 17 to 19. For each truckload, the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita and the Police Activity League Supporters of Northridge will receive $1,000 between them.

“Closets overloaded? Don’t know where you’re going to put all your Hanukkah or Christmas gifts?” said Mountasia Director of Marketing Courtney Henn. “…Bring your clothes, shoes, towels and blankets to Mountasia or Skateland.”

They are looking for all sorts of used items for the Rescue Mission. Those who bring a full trash bag of items will receive a free roller skating pass to Skateland and a free miniature gold pass to Mountasia. It’s your opportunity this holiday season to help those in need and have fun in the process.
