NB traffic impacted heavily into Santa Clarita.

A Caltrans construction project on the I-5 freeway is slowing traffic just south of Santa Clarita.

All Northbound truck lanes are closed, and the California Highway Patrol has confirmed that the #4 lane is also closed.

Several unfortunate travelers have reported to KHTS delays of up to an hour coming Northbound on the I-5 or the 405.

Alternate routes include the Old Road or Sierra Highway. However due to this incident, these routes are experiencing higher traffic volume.
