These last few days I’ve spotted several tweets from Assemblywoman Christy Smith in which she spoke of patriotism and how her Democrat Party actually owns that word, “patriotism” as though she’s claiming she’s the actual patriot in her congressional race against Congressman Mike Garcia.

As you know, Mike Garcia served almost 20 years in the U.S. Navy rising to become an officer and a combat Fighter Pilot flying thirty bombing missions over Iraq while Christy Smith worked office jobs in league with the teachers union.  Not long ago, Christy Smith was actually caught on video with several supporters making fun of Mike Garcia’s military service.

Meanwhile, Christy Smith tweeted her strong support for defunding our Los Angeles Police and Sheriff’s Departments.  So much for rational thinking and displaying her sense of patriotism!  I suppose in her mind we citizens are expendable to the radical Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa anarchists.  The liberal Black Matter Lives movement champions defunding law enforcement and we’ve seen liberal Democrat leaders across America join their cause.

Case in point, in June 2020 Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Garcetti kneeled in unison with Black Lives Matter members during a street rally while announcing his $150 Million police budget cut.  We’re all aware that Governor Gavin Newsom agrees with Garcetti and is actively releasing criminals back into our communities.  Government’s number one responsibility is protecting its citizen’s safety.   In my opinion, one cannot be more unpatriotic and anti-American than these Democrat politicians.

Who hasn’t seen the devastating rioting, blatant graffiti, looting and burning of businesses from one end of our county to the other in Democrat-run cities where city leaders have required law enforcement to stand down?  That’s far from exhibiting patriotism.  It’s true that the notorious Antifa mob has successfully joined Black Lives Matter city street rallies to the extreme detriment of those impacted Democrat-led cities.  Apparently, Democrat leaders have not distinguished any difference between BLM and Antifa.

Antifa endorses anti-capitalism, Marxism, Socialism and Communism; none of which relate to American freedom.

Check the Black Lives’ web site and you’ll notice that their platform consists of many policies in direct opposition to traditional American family life.

Meanwhile, Democrat leaders have long instituted sanctuary zones that protect illegal aliens including criminals and they promote providing driver licenses, voting rights and tax paid entitlements to illegal aliens. Over the years we’ve all seen numerous news articles regarding illegal aliens committing heinous crimes against American citizens?  Obviously, Democrats do not champion America’s sovereignty or an adequate sense of law enforcement.

No, Democrats do not come close one bit to owning patriotism and in fact it’s the complete opposite.
