Amour Pulls Out Of 2022 City Council Race

Kody Amour announced Wednesday on KHTS Radio that he is pulling out of the 2022 city council election.

“I am withdrawing from the race, and dropping out,” Amour said in an on-air interview with KHTS Radio.

Amour, who is currently homeless was running to help bring attention to the homelessness problem in Santa Clarita.

“I’m glad I was able to refocus the city towards homelessness,” Amour said.

While Amour realized the present was not the right time to run, he hopes to one day be back in the race for City Council.

  1. How about taking responsibility for your life, loser?

  2. He wanted to bring attention to homeless?

We see them all the time trashing up the communities they hang around in.

Where did he get the funds to campaign?

Did he honestly think a responsible adult would vote for a person who doesn’t maintain an acceptable life style would vote for him? He must be democrat.

PS never even heard of this dude until his announcement he was withdrawing.

    • KMS, Yes, The tender minded, bleeding heart, naive Liberals living in Peter Pan World would vote for it, just like they have in all the degenerated cities across the once wonderful (not perfect) America! Look at what the Liberals have done to every city, disgusting!

  3. Pulled out? He never even penetrated.
Gave up and went back to the wash to feed wildlife and biodegrade.

  4. Addressing homelessness cannot be addressed at the City level. The State is sponsoring a multi-billion dollar homeless industry by declaring sanctuary for 5150 patients and then spinning up non-profits run by their close associates that receive bond funding that will never end. Other recommendations like raising the minimum wage make everything more expensive not more affordable. Govt policy has created and perpetuated these conditions. The more regulations they add and lets face it, the more illegal immigration that places demand on already crunched housing, continues to make this worse. You cannot bring in 100k people per month and not place stress on housing. Nobody wants to address this. Continuing to elect people that align with San Francisco policies will continue to result in Cities that have the same blight. We now have the proof.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
