The City of Santa Clarita is advising drivers of a traffic impact on Smyth Drive in Valencia due to the installation of a new water main.
The Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency is installing a new water main along Smyth Drive, from Dickason Drive to about 150 feet past the end of Valencia High School’s property.

Work hours: Nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Duration: Approximately 2.5 months

Location: Smyth Drive, Valencia (from Dickason Drive to past Valencia High School)
Drivers should expect overnight delays and are encouraged to plan alternate routes and drive cautiously through the work zone.
Nighttime work will follow a similar pattern to the previous Dickason Drive phase.
