Foothill League Girls Flag Football Enters Final Game

With just one game left in the regular season, West Ranch and Hart are tied at the top of the Foothill League standings with identical 11-2 records.

Vasquez follows in third place with an 8-5 league record, while Castaic sits just behind at 7-6 in what has been a strong inaugural season.

West Ranch can clinch its first-ever Foothill League championship by defeating Valencia on Wednesday, regardless of Hart’s result. The Wildcats hold the tiebreaker over the Hawks, having beaten them twice during the season.

For Hart to claim back-to-back league titles, they must beat Canyon and hope West Ranch loses.

Despite the close records, Vasquez will retain third place even if they lose and Castaic wins, thanks to Vasquez’s two head-to-head wins over the Coyotes.

Valencia enters the final game with a 5-8 league record, while Saugus and Golden Valley are tied at 4-9, and Canyon sits at 2-11.

Final Game Schedule – Wednesday

  • West Ranch at Valencia – 6:30 p.m.

  • Hart vs Canyon – 3:30 p.m.

  • Vasquez at Saugus – 6:30 p.m.

  • Castaic vs Golden Valley – 3:00 p.m.
