Final
San Gorgonio 39
Golden Valley 35
San Gorgonio drew first blood, but Golden Valley came back with 21 unanswered points to take a 21-7 lead. San G battled back in the second quarter but the Grizzlies took a 21-20 lead into the second half.
Jalin Lewis caught two more touchdown passes to give him 11 on the season, a school-record to go along with his eclipsing the 1000 yard mark last week.
The Grizzlies took a 35-26 lead into the fourth quarter, but tightened up on offense with some 3-and-outs and inability to get first downs running the football. A late 4th and 4 from the 16 was completed but deemed short of the first down, and the defense had no answer for Kaleb Haynes legs down the stretch.
The Spartans scored the final 13 points of the game to end the historic Golden Valley season.

Final
Valencia 35
San Clemente 41
Aaron Thomas out-dueled USC commit Jack Sears with three first half touchdown passes and 193 yards. Sears fumbled twice and the Vikings forced three fumbles in the first half, and scored two touchdowns inside the final minute of the second quarter to take a 28-14 lead into halftime.
Aaron Thomas came out sharp in the second half and threw his fourth touchdown pass to give the Vikings a 35-21 lead in the 3rd quarter. However, momentum suddenly shifted and the Tritons closed out the game scoring 20 unanswered points for the 41-35 victory.
The Vikings will be thinking about the fourth quarter for a long time, as they turned the ball over twice in big spots.
Once on a dropped pass that fell into a San Clemente defensive back’s hands (which would have been a first down and possibly much more), and another interception with Valencia 3rd and goal from the eight yard line. Combine that with some missed tackles from an exhausted defense that spent most of the second half on the field, and it spelled doom for a team that was up 35-21 and looking great in the third quarter.
