Los Angeles Rams

The post-Fisher era for the Los Angeles Rams and Interim head coach John Fassel didn’t go according to plan last night in Seattle.

The Seattle Seahawks had their way with the Rams running all over them by the final score of 24-3. Seattle also captured the NFC West title with this win.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff was 13-25 in the air with 135 yards. Todd Gurley didn’t provide much help on the ground as he rushed for 38 yards on 14 carries.

John Fassel will have a chance to get his first win as head coach next week as the Rams get set to take on the 49ers at home.

Los Angeles Lakers

The struggling Lakers look to end their eight game losing streak tonight versus the 76ers in Philadelphia.

Last time out the Lakers looked sluggish against the Brooklyn Nets. Lou Williams scored 16 points that game, and has averaged a career best 19.2 a game.

D’Angelo Russell, who missed 11 straight games after getting platelet-rich plasma therapy on his ailing right knee, has struggled since returning three games ago, averaging 10.3 points on 32.1 % shooting.

The Lakers will be without Jose Calderon (hamstring). It is unclear whether Tarik Black will be available. He has missed the last five games with a sprained right ankle.

Tip off for tonight’s game is scheduled for 5:00 PST.
