Hello from the other side

Santa Clarita High School Boys Basketball

So much for stumbling. Golden Valley (10-4) got back on track by hitting triple digits Monday, crushing Stern, 106-32. The Grizzlies continue tournament play tomorrow at Paraclete at 7 pm.

Down eight points at the break, the Saugus Centurions (7-8) came from behind in the second half to defeat the Newbury Park Panthers at home, 63-60.

That’s two straight victories for the Centurions, who complete a back-to-back tonight at Tesoro. Tip-off from Tesoro is at 7 pm.

Hart is going for a season-best six-game winning streak this evening against Knight at 6:30 pm.

The Canyon Cowboys head east to take on Camarillo in final preparation for the league schedule. That game is at 7 pm.

Santa Clarita High School Girls Basketball

The lone Foothill League team in action tonight is Canyon, searching for a fourth consecutive victory. The ladies take on struggling Middle College in a late 7:45 start.

The Master’s College

The Mustangs basketball teams are headed to San Diego to take on San Diego Christian. The women start things off at 5:30, and the men take the court in the night cap at 7:30.

Both teams are playing their third conference games of the season.

Los Angeles Lakers

Your Los Angeles Lakers are going for a rare fourth win in a row tonight at home. A formidable opponent stands in their way, however, with the world champions at Staples Center.

The Lakers and Warriors tip-off at 7:30 pm.
