Although the football season in the Santa Clarita Valley has ended, players continue to win after the release of the CIF Southern Section Foothill League 2024 All-League Football Team.

One player who stood head and shoulders above the rest was Brady Bretthauer, the 2024 Player of the Year and quarterback for the Valencia Vikings.

The star defensive player was Canyon’s Evan Watts, who earned the honor of becoming the Defensive Player of the Year.

The 6’4” defensive end totaled 22.5 tackles for a loss, 11.5 sacks and led the Cowboys with 73 total tackles.

The Lineman of the Year went to defensive end Max Piccolino, who led the league with 15.5 sacks and tallied a pair of caused fumbles and blocked punts.
