A child was airlifted to the hospital Friday after a near-drowning in a pool in Canyon Country.

Around 1:15 p.m. Friday, firefighters received reports of a near-drowning in a pool at an apartment complex on Sara Street in Canyon Country, said Ryan Rau, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
