An injured hiker was airlifted by rescuers Sunday morning in Charlie Canyon in Castaic.
At 9:50 p.m. first responders received reports of an injured hiker on Charlie Canyon Road in Castaic, according to supervisor Melanie Flores with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“The hiker was 300 feet down on a bike trail,” said Flores.
A helicopter was called in to make the rescue of the hiker, and the person was transported to the hospital.
The injuries sustained by the hiker are not known as of the publication of this article.
