A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck near South El Monte late Friday night, with residents across Santa Clarita reportedly feeling the quake.
At around 11:38 p.m. on Friday, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake was reported three kilometers southwest of El Monte, according to officials with the United States Geological Survey.
The earthquake was felt throughout Santa Clarita, with residents from Newhall to Canyon Country reportedly feeling it.
No damage or injuries had been reported in the Santa Clarita Valley as of 11:45 p.m. Friday.
