Car Crashes Into Pole, Causing Canyon County Power Outage

Over 1,200 Southern California Edison (SCE) customers in and around Sand Canyon were left without power Tuesday morning as the result of a Canyon Country power outage caused by a car that collided with a nearby power pole.

Just before 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision near Sand Canyon Road and Live Oak Springs Canyon Road.

“We were responding to a report of a vehicle versus a pole,” said Leslie Lua with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “No injuries were reported.”

SCE officials were then called to the scene to assess the damage to the power lines, as well as to repair them.

  1. WOW! Who would have thought! This is another way to shut off the power. Pay someone to run into a power pole.
Don’t laugh or ridicule, folks. We have seen what the Dems will do!

  2. We wouldn’t put anything past those deceitful demonic Liberals! Look what they’ve done to poor Trump for 4 long years!

  3. They can’t even get the location right; it was at Sand Canyon and Live Oak Springs Canyon Road. Condor Ridge is about a mile away. How can you believe other articles????
