This is the second power outage in Newhall this month. SCE needs to upgrade their grid because this is getting really annoying.
This one was caused by a balloon and not by equipment failure.
We get taken out by a balloon wait till 2035 when we also have to depend on the system for charging our electric vehicles.
Because the electrical generation, storage and distribution infrastructure will remain in its present state until then?
Mylar balloons come from downhill.
Including the Thousands of new houses being built allllll around SCV, and don’t forget the horrible drought & insufficient roads/Fwys.!!
Electric companies are always blaming mylar balloons but it’s a lie. It deflects the responsibility away from themselves.
Those damn Mylar balloons are the culprit! Thought they were gonna ban those years ago, but they never did! Should do so now!
