Street Art Festival Packing In The Fun

See and create chalk art at free annual event

[view:node_ad=5]As the week winds down, the City is winding up for one of their biggest events of the year; the Street Art Festival.

Starting at 10am Saturday and running through Sunday evening, the Street Art Festival is a free event, geared towards visitors of all ages.

The main draw of the event is the chalk art, in which tons of local artists make their mark in drawn out squares on the street. Those wishing to make a drawing of their own can purchase a square and do just that.

Aside from the stunning array of chalk art, live entertainment is scheduled back to back throughout the weekend. Bands and a dance block will highlight the entertainment. Click here for a full list of acts.

The Festival got an unofficial kick off Monday evening at the Westfield Valencia Town Center, where children and adults were invited to draw their own masterpieces. Lockheed Federal Credit Union is the title sponsor of the Street Art Festival.
