Additional Organizations Can Still Sign up to Sell Tickets and Raise Money.

[view:node_ad=5]Several local organizations are now selling tickets for the 2008 AT&T Champions Classic at Valencia Country Club, March 14-16.

The charity ticket program is an opportunity for organizations to retain 50 percent of the cost of the ticket sold for the Champions Tour event, which retails for $15, as a fund raiser.  Tickets can be purchased directly through one of the organizations listed below or by logging on to www.attchampionsclassic.com/tickets and purchasing tickets via the internet and designating a charity to benefit from the purchase.

With approximately two months to go before tournament week, additional organizations can still sign up to participate in the charity ticket program.

Tom Purtzer returns to defend his 2007 AT&T Champions Classic crown against another stellar field heading to the Santa Clarity Valley.  The list of players expected to compete includes first-time AT&T Champions Classic participants Bernhard Langer, John Cook and Jeff Sluman.

In addition, last year’s runner-up and Champions Tour Charles Schwab Cup winner Loren Roberts will also tee it up at the $1.6 million event.  Roberts will be joined by last year’s Champions Tour Player of the Year Jay Haas and former AT&T Champions Classic winners Tom Kite, Des Smyth and Gil Morgan.
