Traffic Signals Synchronized On Busy County Roads

The Old Road, Copper Hill Drive traffic improvements will make for smoother travel.

 

To reduce congestion, pollution, travel time, and enhance public safety, traffic lights at 22 intersections located along The Old Road and Copper Hill Roads in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County have been synchronized to improve the flow of traffic. 

 

The routes and limits of the synchronization are as follows:

·The Old Road from Pico Canyon Road to Lake Hughes Road (13 intersections)

·Stevenson Ranch Parkway from Pico Canyon Road to The Old Road (3 intersections)

·Pico Canyon Road from Stevenson Ranch Parkway to The Old Road (1 intersection)

·Copper Hill Drive from Decoro Drive to San Francisquito Canyon Road (8 intersections)

 

Supervisor Michael Antonovich and several other government and community leaders will gather at Jimmy Dean’s restaurant on The Old Road at 11 a.m. Wednesday for a brief ceremony commemorating the synchronization.
