A big rig rolled down an embankment Friday morning in a 5 Freeway crash in Gorman resulting in no injuries, officials said.
Just before 8:50 a.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a rolled over big rig on the northbound 5 Freeway south of Highway 138, said Franklin Lopez, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“Call came in as an overturned semi truck with persons possibly trapped,” Lopez said.
There were no persons trapped or injuries reported, Lopez said.
The big rig reportedly rolled down off of the freeway down the embankment, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
As of 9:15 a.m., there are no lanes blocked, according to officials.

These NAFTA trucks often race through there above 80mph driving 14 hr days (they brag about it at rest areas) as the CA laws don’t seem to apply to them. I have seen so many close calls with these guys with Baja plates flying by regulated trucks doing 55-60, swerving on bad retread tires. It is amazing more of them dont crash. But anything for cheap freight right?……
