Let’s not sanitize this fully preventable tragedy by calling it a “rollover crash”. It was a deadly street racing crash.
I watched the video, I agree street racing & with one car in the opposing lane. Selfishness!
Thankfully no innocent cars were involved.
While you are judging, I am praying for the family. To lose a child, grandchild, family member, classmate, girlfriend, and/or a friend is devastating. Not the time to share your self righteous views while love ones are suffering. A child died, where is your humanity?
Yo Kate, you replied your comment to ME..! I was the one telling the other posters they were out of line for their comments..
So are u saying the girl who died was in one of the racers cars?
While you are judging, I am praying for all involved. To lose a child, niece, and a friend is devastating. Not the time to use as a time to share your self righteous views. Heartless. Where is your humanity?
Yes… and it was still a teenager who died! By nature, teens don’t typically make decisions that they will consider to be ‘good’ decisions once they mature.
This is incredibly sad for all involved.
This is sad, loss of life. I have written city/county officials of this very problem when motorcycle’s and other cars were racing up and down Sloan Cyn 1 1/2 years ago and specifically mentioned speed and the safety issue on the turn that if someone missed it would go directly into the house. There is no protection what so ever. I’ve asked about speed bumps and the answer was no as it would slow down emergency response time and a signal at Sloan and Quail Valley and another no. The stop sign at Parker is ridiculous because people run right through it anyway. The safety for the church, the Bravo/Enclave track for turning right/left out of the track and just plain safety for our residents. Not to mention the 3,500 new houses that have been approved up Sloan which will add a heavy traffic/congestion to this road. I had asked the city to be PROACTIVE but now they are REACTIVE. Something needs to be done now to protect the safety of our community and it’s residents.
