One person was airlifted Friday morning as a result of a rollover 5 Freeway crash in Gorman, officials said.
On Friday around 4:20 a.m., first responders received reports of a rollover traffic collision with persons possibly trapped on the northbound 5 Freeway near Quail Lake in Gorman, said Austin Bennett, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
When units were in route they requested a helicopter to respond, Bennett said.
“One vehicle did overturn and the patient self extricated,” Bennett said.
The patient was transported by helicopter to an area hospital, Bennett said.
The condition of the patient is unknown as of Friday mroning, according to Fire officials.
