An overturned big rig and a downed pole affected traffic early Saturday morning on the 5 Freeway in Santa Clarita. 

At around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision involving an overturned big rig on the southbound 5 Freeway at Parker Road in Castaic. 

The incident resulted in a downed pole as well. No injuries were reported according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

As a result of the accident a SIG Alert was issued for the number one and two lanes of the southbound 5 freeway for about three hours. 

At around 10 a.m. CalTrans tweeted that all lanes were reopened at Parker Road.
