At 9:34 a.m. Monday, firefighters received a call about an overturned cement truck near the corner of Newhall Avenue and the 14 Freeway, resulting in no injuries, said Leslie Lua, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“Firefighters arrived on-scene at 9:41 a.m. and left at 9:53 a.m.,” Lua said.

When first responders arrived at the scene of the crash, the driver of the truck had exited the vehicle and had no reported injuries, officials said.

Traffic is impacted in the area, with deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station directing traffic.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers also respond to the scene of the crash.

A tow truck has been requested to the scene to upright the large vehicle, according to CHP logs.
