An overturned fuel truck on Sand Canyon Road blocked access to the northbound 14 Freeway on Friday morning.

At about 9:25 a.m. Friday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision blocking the onramp to the northbound 14 Freeway from Sand Canyon Road, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) incident logs.

Emergency responders discovered that although a fuel tanker had overturned, no fuel had been spilled, according to CHP incident logs.

A SIGAlert was issued to close both the Sand Canyon Road on and offramps to the northbound 14 Freeway to allow access to the incident. Ther is no known reopening time as of the publication of this article.
