A Virginia Beach man has been identified as the person who was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Newhall Monday morning.
Delbert Morgan, 24, from Virginia Beach, Virginia, was killed in the collision with the train, said Sarah Ardalani, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner Coroner’s Office.
Monday Morning
On Monday, first responders received reports of a train striking a person on the tracks on Railroad and Newhall Avenues in Newhall.
When paramedics arrived on scene, Morgan was pronounced dead on arrival.
Morgan’s death was ruled a suicide, according to Coroner’s officials.
