Woman Hospitalized After Being Struck By Vehicle In Stevenson Ranch

A woman was taken to the hospital Thursday evening after being struck by a vehicle in Stevenson Ranch and found “not breathing.”

Just after 6:30 p.m. Thursday, first responders with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports of a woman being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Pico Canyon Road and The Old Road in Stevenson Ranch.

“One person was reportedly struck by a vehicle,” said Supervisor Pittman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “When we arrived on scene, that person was not breathing.”

First responders did manage to restore the woman’s breathing, and proceeded to transport her to a nearby hospital, according to Pittman.

The exact condition of the woman as well as the circumstances of the crash were unknown as of Thursday evening.

  1. Mom passed away shortly after being stuck by that car . Her name was sonia Martinez age 62. Beloved mother , sister, aunt, friend and grandma No words can express the heart ache we feel.
    To the public : please stop speeding on that road. Many people cross that street every day . Life is precious.
