The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) reduced the 5 freeway north of Castaic to two lanes on Sunday due to a landslide.
On Friday, the landslide was located on the 5 freeway just north of Templin Highway in Castaic, according to Caltrans officials.
Since Friday, Caltrans has closed an additional lane due to the landslide.
The two right southbound lanes are currently closed and pending further evaluation due to the slide, according to Caltrans officials.
Due to the 5 Freeway being reduced to two lanes, expect delays.
