SCV Water is hosting an online event next Saturday to teach those who are interested in gardening but only have small spaces to work with.

Want to try your hand at gardening but don’t have much space? it’s okay, learn how to start gardening in a small space with SCV Water next Saturday.

“Oftentimes, people without a traditional yard feel that they can’t have a garden,” said Tim Wheeler, owner and head instructor of The Wheeler Company. “Balconies, patios, and micro yards are all viable gardens.”

The event takes place next Saturday at 9 a.m. online.

The class demonstrates different ways to grow vegetables, fruit and flowers in small soil and containers.

Register to learn from teacher Stephen Williams who is also a professor and horticulturist about why growing an edible garden is doable and water-wise.

Attendees can expect the free class to last about two hours but attendees must register before the event.
