Rain is expected in Santa Clarita through Wednesday before conditions dry out by Thanksgiving.
More rain is expected Monday evening lasting through Wednesday in the Santa Clarita Valley, said Rich Thompson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“We are not looking for a tremendous amount of rain, generally around a quarter inch or less across the Santa Clarita Valley,” Thompson said. “So not a lot of rain, enough to make things gloomy and roads slick.”
Snow levels are expected to remain above 10,000 feet of elevation which will not impact the local roadways.
By Thanksgiving, conditions are expected to dry out, with temperatures in the upper 60s, according to Thompson.
