Emergency responders hoisted a man from a hiking trail via helicopter after receiving a call that he was stuck Saturday, said Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

The man was “stuck on top of a hiking trail,” near the nature center, said dispatch supervisor Art Marrujo

A helicopter was enlisted to take the man off the trail and to safety.

“He was up there, stranded,” said Marrujo. “We hoisted him out.”

The man was not injured, and medical response was not needed.
