Todd Bradley Nohrenberg, a 50-year old Caucasian male, was identified by Coroner’s officials, said Investigator Betsy Magdaleno with the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner.
The man did not have an address, said Magdaleno.
Nohrenberg was found in his car in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart located at 26471 Carl Boyer Dr., according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.
The man was homeless and was living out of his vehicle and passed due to existing medical conditions, said Sgt. Tim Vander Leek with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Santa Clarita Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene at approximately 8:00 p.m., according to Vander Leek.

Todd was a good man… generous, kind, giving, though he had little to give except for his time, talents, and love. He gave of those completely and unselfishly. He volunteered at my church every single time the doors were open and was a great guy to be around.
I am particularly saddened because it was only when I heard of his death this morning that I discovered he lived in his car and was homeless. Whatever stereotype you have of a homeless man living in his car, Todd was not it. I feel bad that I did not know this and never bothered to engage him in conversation about his life.
He leaves children and a grandchild (at least one) behind, as well as hundreds of lives he touched as he sacrificially gave from his poverty. Thank you for Todd Nohrenberg, and please comfort his family and those of us whose hearts are broken.
Todd was a wonderful human being, he gave everything to help his ailing father and then his mother. He was my best friend and I had begged him to come live with me in NC as well as Vegas but his love for his daughters kept him in San Clarita. They were the sunshine of his life. We spoke often of them. Jesus has another Rose sitting at his table today.
I hadn’t seen Todd in years, but we were friends for a very long time. We laughed so hard whenever we saw each other, I smiled when he was mentioned. When I saw this, I felt that loss that is even keener because I hadn’t kept in touch. I wish him a fine journey.
