Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a report of a dead body found in the Santa Clara River wash in Canyon Country, officials said Friday.

Deputies received the call regarding an adult male found face down in the wash near the intersection of Langside and Soledad Canyon Road around 10:50 a.m., officials said.

Multiple deputies are on scene and a helicopter was called in for a possible rescue; however, fire officials cancelled medical units because they determined the man was dead.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau was called around 12:30 p.m.

  1. pertaining to your news facts about the man in the river because a man has a drinking issue or not how the hell did he die/hello?if a lawyer docter or flight attendant as i your county would be right on it what does aa or homeless have anything to do with being killed
