All American Bail Bonds bail recovery agents have recently caught a man who has been on the run for months.

“Keishmond Davis, one of our fugitive’s was captured last Friday in Harker Heights, Texas,” said Jeff Chavez, president of All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita. “We have been working with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s office for extradition. It was finally approved and not more than two hours later, Keishmond was arrested.”

The 29-year-old Davis, of Cypress, is being held at the Bell County Jail in Texas awaiting extradition, he said.

“While running Davis through one of our national databases we received a hit on an address that was used in Harker Heights,” Chavez said. “In late November, two agents were dispatched to the address to confirm Davis was residing there. Through surveillance and speaking with neighbors it was confirmed that Davis was residing at the address with his girlfriend.” 

Bail recovery agents with All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita began searching for Davis in September after he failed to appear in court on Feb. 19, 2014 and Sept. 8, Chavez said. Davis was arrested on Jan. 4, 2014 for a misdemeanor D.U.I.

“Upon confirmation, the agents went to the Harker Height Police Department to solicit their help in arresting Davis, as it would be illegal for our agents to effect an arrest,” Chavez said. “Local officials ran Davis through a national warrant database and found no warrant, therefore they were unable to assist.”

After months of legal work in the All American Bail Bonds fugitive recovery department, a Long Beach city attorney entered the warrant into the national database, he said.

“Once the warrant was entered, Harker Heights Police Department officers made the arrest,” Chavez said. “Davis is currently being held pending extradition back to Los Angeles County. Davis also has a failure to appear in Orange County. Upon completion of his case in L.A., he will be transferred to Orange County.”
