Nola Aronson, the owner of Advanced Audiology in Santa Clarita, is planning to open another location in the Northridge area.

The Santa Clarita audiologist recently acquired Audiology Services of Newhall and Audiology Partners of Mission Hills in addition to her Valencia location, and isn’t stopping there.
“We’re celebrating our 30th anniversary in the Santa Clarita Valley,” Aronson said. “So we’re expanding… We will have another satellite office in Northridge also.”

The Northridge location will be open part-time to start with, and is set to be headed by Dr. David Hsu, who will be transferring from the Valencia location.
“I live and grew up in Northridge,” Hsu said. “It’s been awesome being able to come up and serve Valencia, but obviously having something a little closer will be really nice too.”
As a child, Hsu suffered from chronic ear infections, which he noted made him more “aware” of his ears and familiar with having them checked regularly. Then in college, Hsu decided to pursue his career as an audiologist.
“I liked more sciences, I wanted to work with people, I liked the medical slant and so audiology was this great intersection of hearing, of helping people, being a doctor, but also a counselor,” he explained. “We don’t just talk about hearing loss or hearing aids, I think we transform people’s communication. We transform their hearing life.”
Aronson said of Hsu, “He’s a wonderful person, patients really like him a lot, he’s very knowledgeable and we are happy to have him.”
