Congressman Steve Knight announced the location for his Santa Clarita Valley District Office, a spokesman said Tuesday.

Knight’s district office for the Santa Clarita Valley is set to be located at 26415 Carl Boyer Drive, Suite 220, according to Daniel Outlaw, spokesman for Knight.

“I’m pleased that all district offices are up and running,” Knight said. “I encourage anyone in the community who needs help with a federal agency or issue to reach out for help. I am honored to represent you and my commitment is to you.”

The lease was approved Tuesday, Outlaw said.

Knight serves on the Housed Armed Services Committee and is working to secure passage of bills that would promote small businesses’ efforts to gain government contracts, as well as standards aimed at promoting private growth in the aerospace industry.

Knight’s primary focus during the early part of his term has been outreach in the Santa Clarita Valley, he said in a recent trip to a group of students — one of 60 such trips he has planned in his first year to speak at schools in his district.  

Knight was elected in November to represent the 25th Congressional District, which covers most of the Santa Clarita and Antelope valleys.
