Who/What: The Los Angeles County Community and Senior Services Department with the Office of Emergency Management will be hosting a Disaster Preparedness Event at the SCV Senior Center

Details: The presentations at this event are designed specifically for seniors to increase awareness on emergency preparedness. Some of the topics that will be covered are: Feeling Safe, Being Safe – Your Personal Safety in An Emergency, What You Should Know About Evacuation, and SNAP – Special Needs Awareness Planning. Following the presentations, representatives from a variety of County agencies will be available on a one on one basis to answer questions, provide informational brochures, and hand out other disaster preparedness materials. Join us for this very important and educational event!
