On today’s show Host Alex Urbina sits down with SCVi Facilitators and discusses leadership and how SCVi Charter School is teaching leadership to the learners and how they have adopted a new style of learning.
What is the distinction between leadership and heart-felt leadership?
It is great to let the kids know the difference because leadership isn’t always being pose and outspoken but it is about being heard and being in service of someone else.
In the class we allow students to take ownership of their learning and make a curriculum around their interests and what will make or lcik for them, a SCVi facilitator said.
Leadership isn’t just about strength and mite, a SCVi Facilitator said.
We need all kinds of styles, analyzers, supporters, strength leaders. It is ok whatever style you are because as a collective that is what makes us work and helps everyone grow together, Alex said.
