Get Back-to-School Ready With A Visit To Neal Green DDS In Santa Clarita

As summer winds down and families across Santa Clarita prepare for a new school year, there is plenty to think about, from school supplies and schedules to sports, activities, and getting back into a daily routine.

One item that should be on every family’s back-to-school checklist is a visit to the dentist.

A back-to-school dental appointment can be a great opportunity to make sure your child’s smile is healthy and ready for the year ahead. At Neal C. Green, D.D.S., Inc., families in Santa Clarita can find comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on making patients feel comfortable.

Why a Back-to-School Dental Visit Matters

The beginning of the school year is a natural reminder to schedule routine dental care. Regular checkups and cleanings can help identify potential dental concerns early and give children an opportunity to maintain good oral hygiene habits.

A dental visit can also be especially helpful before children return to busy school schedules, sports, and extracurricular activities. Starting the school year with a clean, healthy smile can give students one less thing to worry about.

Parents can use a back-to-school appointment as an opportunity to talk with their children about brushing, flossing, making healthy choices, and taking care of their teeth throughout the school year.

A Comfortable Dentist for Kids and Adults

For some children and adults, visiting the dentist can create anxiety. Dr. Neal Green understands those concerns and has built his practice around helping patients who feel nervous about dental visits. His practice’s motto, “We Cater to Cowards,” reflects that focus on creating a more comfortable dental experience.

Dr. Green has more than 35 years of dental experience and began practicing after graduating from the University of Southern California Dental School in 1983.

Before the backpacks are packed and the school bell rings, consider putting a back-to-school dentist appointment on the family calendar.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess. Carl was one of the first Americans to come down with Covid-19. Months earlier he was impacted by Guillain Barre Syndrome as a result of a Shingles vaccine in September 2019. He is still in recovery from the vaccine.
