Migraine Myths Debunked: What You Need To Know

Too many people still think migraines are “just bad headaches” or that triggers are the same for everyone. These myths lead to frustration, wasted money, and more pain.

WHAT IS MIGRAINE?

Migraines are complex neurological events involving the brain, blood vessels, and nervous system—not simply pain in the head.

WHAT IT’S BEING STUDIED FOR

Research shows migraines involve changes in brain activity, blood flow, and inflammation (Charles, 2013).

WHY IT WORKS

By understanding the neurological nature of migraines, patients can focus on personalized strategies—rather than generic advice and treatment based on myths.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Patients often find relief once they stop chasing myths and start focusing on individual triggers and neurological resets.

WHO IT’S FOR

Anyone struggling with recurring migraines, especially women 30–55, who feel frustrated by one-size-fits-all advice.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess. Carl was one of the first Americans to come down with Covid-19. Months earlier he was impacted by Guillain Barre Syndrome as a result of a Shingles vaccine in September 2019. He is still in recovery from the vaccine.
