Why Regular Plumbing Maintenance Is Essential For Your Home

Plumbing is an integral part of any home, providing clean water and safe disposal of waste.

However, it’s easy to take your plumbing system for granted until a problem arises, such as a burst pipe or clogged drain.

That’s why Whitaker Plumbing in Santa Clarita offers regular plumbing maintenance that is crucial for the long-term health and safety of your home.

Here are a few reasons why:

Early detection of problems: During Whitaker Plumbing’s maintenance check, they can identify any signs of damage or wear and tear. By catching these issues early, you can avoid more extensive and costly repairs down the line.

Improved water efficiency: Your plumbing system is responsible for providing clean water to your home, and a well-maintained system can reduce water waste and lower your monthly water bill.

Enhanced safety: A damaged or faulty plumbing system can pose a safety hazard to you and your family, such as leaky pipes leading to water damage or gas leaks causing a fire. Regular maintenance can identify potential risks and ensure your plumbing system is secure and functioning correctly.

Peace of mind: Regular plumbing maintenance provides peace of mind that your plumbing system is in good working order and less likely to experience unexpected issues that can disrupt your daily routine.

Regular plumbing maintenance is crucial for the smooth functioning of any property’s plumbing system. One key aspect of this maintenance is conducting pipe camera inspections. These inspections allow plumbers to visually inspect the interior of pipes, identifying any potential issues such as clogs, leaks, or damage. By detecting problems early on, pipe camera inspections help prevent costly repairs and water damage in the long run.

So, how often should you schedule a plumbing maintenance check?

Whitaker Plumbing recommends having a professional plumber inspect your plumbing system at least once a year, and more often for older homes or those with frequent plumbing issues. If you notice any signs of damage, such as leaks or slow drains, don’t wait to call Whitaker Plumbing.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess. Carl was one of the first Americans to come down with Covid-19. Months earlier he was impacted by Guillain Barre Syndrome as a result of a Shingles vaccine in September 2019. He is still in recovery from the vaccine.
