Only five slots currently remain for the first-ever Santa Clarita Direct Sales Symposium set for April 26 at the Valencia Hyatt as part of the two-day 2015 KHTS Home and Garden Show.

“Direct sales is really referred to nowadays as the new economy, and not a lot of people are really familiar with what that means,” said Wendy Hassenpflug, who represents Isagenix in Santa Clarita.
“To have the opportunity to listen to people that are involved in all these different companies here locally, hearing it firsthand by people that are a part of your own community helps people better understand and build a stronger knowledge of what direct sales companies are all about.”

The direct selling industry has undergone major changes in the past 10 years, and the symposium will give Santa Clarita Valley residents the opportunity to learn 26 different ways to legitimately make money from home from the experts.
“I think it’s a great opportunity because it’s one of those things to see that we can all get along and we’re really here to help each other,” said Real Andrews of Advocare. “It’s not about, ‘My thing is better than yours,’ it’s about finding something that you’re passionate about. To me there’s nothing better than direct sales to allow you to have life on your own terms and to be your own boss.”
Residents who represent direct marketing companies in Santa Clarita can join other community members for a full day, sharing their success stories and secrets on how they built a thriving business.
