Today, your host Action Drug Rehab CEO Cary Quashen talks with co-host Robby Robinson about the ongoing drug epidemic.

As a society, we are seeing mental health struggles more prominently which could be the basis of many drug addict’s problems.   Cary and Robby talks about the importance of recognizing addictive personalities and the allure for a young teen or adult wanting to fit in with their friends who may be trying smoking or alcohol for the first time.

Children are spending less time with their parents and family members, instead focusing on their friends and social media which leads to a major disconnect at home.  When mental health is not addressed, people feel overwhelmed or no way out of a dark situation, they tend to turn to something that will give them relief or temporary joy, as in a drug or alcohol.
