On today’s show, Host Alex Urbina and co-host Ellen Tunick discuss how anger, hatred, being offended may overpower your life and how you can get stuck in that feeling.

Many people let other people affect how they feel in a negative way, Alex said. When I was younger I had a breakthrough when i realized that people are going to act how they are going to act and it is up to me how to interpret those actions. If I get mad that is not because of them, that is only because I chose to get mad.

Life is a constant decision of choice making, Alex said. If something comes up in our life you have a choice how you are going to react.

Few people are even aware that there is a choice to be made when dealing with negative emotions, Ellen said. People have lived their lives a certain way for so long and created a construct that in order to grow they must take that down, which is not a simple task.
