On today’s show, your host Matt Watson talks with Lisa Dooley, assistant with iLead Exploration.  Together, they talk about the home study program for their high school learners. Parents can pick their programs with their children to make a customized learning program to work for the family.  Additionally, the program is flexible to work with learners who may need extra assistance such as an IEP or 504 program. The program also gives learners a chance to meet in person through organized events and field trips.  SCVi and iLead is a network of free, public charter schools with campuses in Castaic, Agua Dulce and Lancaster as well as an online learning program.  Go to ileadexploration.org

In the second half of the show, Matt welcomes KHTS Co-Owner Carl Goldman in studio.  They talk about the 15th annual Home And Garden Show, taking place at Central Park on April 25 and 26 from 10am-4pm.  The free event is open to the public and will showcase over 450 vendors including roofing, HVAC, lawn care, windows, pool maintenance and much more.  There will also be over 150 booths for local craft makers at the marketplace and 12 food trucks on site.  The Emergency Expo will take place on the 25th and features our local law enforcement demonstrating the Jaws of Life.  The 26th features a Car Show.  Go to scvhomeshow.com for more information.
