GameDay XP is launching in Santa Clarita on Tuesday, and residents can win great tickets to sports games and theme parks while helping support charities just by playing on their phone or computer.
Three times a week — Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays — 10-15 winners will be chosen to receive $800 to $1,000 worth of prizes in tickets, ranging from Dodgers and Rams tickets to Disneyland “park hopper” passes.
“GameDay XP, in a nutshell, gives everybody a chance to get on and play for free,” said Co-Founder Aaron Fuller. “You click a little button and you try to hit the winning number… In return for your participation on the game, our business partners have agreed to donate to a given charity.”
After finding success with over 30,000 participants in its two different locations, GameDay XP is set to launch nationwide this week — starting in Santa Clarita.
“We’re bringing it to Santa Clarita first,” Fuller said. “We know this is an awesome community, great support for nonprofits, we have lots of sports fans, we have lots of Disneyland fans, we have a lot of entertainment fans, and it’s a perfect hybrid for what we’re doing.”
Fuller stressed that giveaways are not “cheap” tickets, but “the best of the best,” and all come in sets of two. In addition, the more players GameDay XP has, the more money is raised for charity and the more prizes will be offered.
Those who may not be particularly technology savvy can rest assured that the game is simple, fun and easy to use, according to Fuller.
“This game is a very simple game — you click on a button and that’s all you do,” he said. “People of all ages can play and support. It doesn’t matter if it’s an 18-year-old teen or it’s a 72-year-old grandma. Every click counts, every click raises money for charities, every click gives you an opportunity to win.”
