The Senior Hour – July 20, 2016

Dr. Dorio and Barbara are pleased to welcome friend of the show and the station, Alex Urbina, on The Senior Hour to discuss life coaching and what he does to help clients fulfill their destinies and live to their potential.

“Not everyone wants to be helped; what I also realized is not everyone’s ready to be helped.” – Alex Urbina

What do you do for the people who aren’t ready?

“I send them blessings and plant those seeds; hopefully someday later they’ll start sprouting.” – Alex Urbina

“Every day knocking at the doors of seniors … is that age factor. Things start to happen like incontinence, memory less.” – Dr. Gene Dorio

Alex’s tips for Barbara and Gene when talking to seniors:

  1. Educate people – let them know there is a different way to think
  2. Inspire people – let them know there is a place for them to come out

“I’m always looking for alternative ways to heal myself, especially if its a healthier way.” – Alex Urbina

“Let’s be open to the possibility that there is other ways to heal ourselves than what the traditional way is.” – Alex Urbina
