Guests: Pastor Jerry Sheidbach

Topic: Politics & The Pulpit – Do Masks Work? “Let My People Breathe” – September 14, 2022

On this episode of Politics & The Pulpit, our host Pastor Jerry Cook of Freedom’s Way Baptist Church talks with guest Pastor Jerry Scheidbach from the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Santa Maria.

They discuss Pastor Sheidbach’s new book “Let My People Breathe” which chronicles the COVID 19 Pandemic and the enforcement of mask regulations. The two wonder whether there is a “quasi-religious” sentiment toward wearing masks and subscribing to regulations enforced by the state.

Additionally, they question the legitimacy of wearing masks and how protective they truly are against COVID and whether it is a politicized prop that the democratic party has used at its dispense.
